Want to use Google’s Calendar but integrate third-party conferencing options? In an exciting development, Google has released an update to allow G Suite users to use third party add-ons to allow users to create, view and join third-party video conferencing from a Calendar event without relying on Chrome extensions or having to download software. Users simply click a link within the Calendar invite to join the meeting on their browser or mobile device.
Google has prepared this launch by partnering with four companies whose add-ons for video conferencing are now available in the G Suite Marketplace. The four video conferencing options are:
- Cisco (Webex integration)
- Dialpad (UberConference integration)
- LogMeIn (GoToMeeting integration)
- Vonage (Vonage integration)
