Comments and Support

Personal information you provide is maintained on our servers or those of our service providers and is accessible by authorized employees, representatives and agents as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. When customers or visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Information Collected from Our Customers

We may obtain personal information from our customers and users of our services and products, including by accessing data within environments hosted by various third parties, such as our customers’ cloud service providers. We obtain such personal information for the purposes of providing products and services to our customers, including for purposes listed below in “How we use information section below. 

The information we may collect in the course of offering products and services to our customers, and depending on which products and services you use, includes contact and job title information of users and others in the customer or partner organization as well as passwords and IP addresses; phone numbers, physical address, payment information such as credit card number, credit card expiration and CVV, the name of your financial institution, bank routing and account number, and] any other information provided by customers while using the services, such as technical support services, or sales support.

Our customers/users are responsible to ensure that they have consent to provide us with access to such personal information, and to ensure the quality, integrity, reliability, and appropriateness of data submitted to us, and must comply with terms contained in the applicable customer agreement.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Wursta and our third-party service providers may use cookies and other tracking mechanisms to evaluate how you use the Site or other online Services. We may combine this information with personal information we collect from you (and our third-party service providers may do so on our behalf).

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Information Automatically Collected

Wursta may collect certain personal information and other information automatically when you interact with our Site, email, social media accounts or online advertising. Such automatically collected information may include: your browser type and operating system; web pages you view; links you click; your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address or Media Access Control (“MAC”) address; mobile device identifier or other unique device identifier of your computer or device; geolocation information such as region or country; device model; carrier information; the length of time you visit or use the Site; and the referring webpage that led you to our Site

Third Party Analytics

We may use third parties’ analytics and tracking tools to better understand who is using the Services, how people are using the Services, how to improve the effectiveness of the Services and related content, and to help us or those third parties serve more targeted advertising to you across the Internet. Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Our service providers may be located in the United States, LATAM, EU or Canada.

Wursta may provide certain aspects of the Services through arrangements with third parties. As a result, your personal information may be shared with the applicable third party. These third parties may have their own privacy policies and terms and conditions, which will govern their use of your personal information. You will be informed of the specific third-party arrangement when signing up for the relevant program, product or service so that you can review the appropriate privacy policies.

How long we retain your data

We keep your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and to meet our legal and contractual obligations. The length of time we retain information varies, depending on the purpose for which it was collected and the nature of the information. This period may extend beyond the end of your relationship with us but only for so long as it is necessary for us to have sufficient information to respond to any issues that may arise at a later date.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely for Us and others that may benefit from comments that solve common problems or situations with our services. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

Wursta’s corporate offices are located within the United States and utilizes data storage primarily in the United States. Our Services are meant for individuals worldwide.
