Wursta’s Year in Review: Top Moments in 2025
We blinked, and somehow 2025 flew by – but not without some major moments along the way. It was a big year for Google, for us here at Wursta, and for every team learning to make AI part of their day-to-day. Here’s a look back at seven standout moments from the past year.
1. Six Years Strong: Wursta Makes the Inc. 5000 List (Again!)
For the sixth year in a row, Wursta has earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America, ranking at #3128. Few companies make the list six consecutive times, and we’re incredibly proud to be among them.
This achievement reflects the momentum we’ve built through close collaboration with clients, a culture of curiosity that keeps us learning and innovating, and a people-first approach to technology. Together, these values continue to drive our growth and guide everything we do.
2. Celebrating One Year in the UK & Ireland
In June, we celebrated a significant milestone – one full year since Wursta officially established its presence in the UK and Ireland. The months flew by, filled with fun events, client wins, and partnerships that brought our shared vision to life across the region.
Highlights included the Google Workspace for SMB event as well as our AI Masterclass at Google London, our virtual AI Roadshow through London, Dublin, and Manchester, the SportsShoes AI running project, and the Retail Technology Show – all powered by the incredible Wursta UKI team. We’re excited to continue growing and reaching new heights in year two!
3. Spotlight on Success: From eCommerce to Ecuador
Wursta’s impact this year ranged from amazing client success stories to global thought leadership. For instance, our OrthoFeet case study highlights how Wursta partnered with the ecommerce footwear brand to migrate 120 users and 500GB of mail data to Google Workspace, integrate Gemini and NotebookLM to address key pain points, and cut tech support tickets by 50% – significantly boosting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Wursta drove the digital transformation of Herpayal, a leading family-owned construction company in Ecuador. We implemented Google Workspace to unify their dispersed information, achieving over 90% savings compared to developing a custom ERP. The project successfully navigated cultural resistance, integrating tools like Gemini (AI) to create digital compliance workflows. This resulted in a 100% reduction in legal compliance costs and ensured robust cultural adoption across all generations of the company.
These moments capture what drives Wursta forward: practical innovation, trusted guidance, and tangible results.
4. A Year in Blog Posts
From actionable how-tos to deep dives into AI adoption, Wursta’s blog covered plenty of ground in 2025. The following are a few highlights:
- Our NotebookLM Step-by-Step Guide showed readers how to make the most of this unique offering from Google – a personalized AI expert focused exclusively on the information sources you add.
- In Five Gemini Use Cases to Maximize Your Efficiency, we shared how teams can reclaim hours of time each week using Gemini’s built-in tools across Google Workspace.
- Our Google Workspace Migration Checklist offered a clear roadmap for managing a successful transition to Google Workspace, from planning and communication to post-migration best practices.
5. The Breakdown: Wursta’s New YouTube Series

This year, Wursta launched The Breakdown, our video series that cuts through the hype and gets to the core of what’s new and what’s next in AI. Hosted by our Senior Solutions Architect Matt Howitt, each episode breaks down a wide range of AI topics, explains key terms, and explores both “out of the box” AI tools and custom development.
New episodes of The Breakdown are uploaded periodically – each one designed to make AI a little more clear and a lot more practical.
6. Google Introduces Gemini Enterprise
In October, Google made its biggest move yet into agentic AI for business with the launch of Gemini Enterprise. Designed as an all-in-one AI platform with an intuitive chat interface, it brings together Google’s most advanced AI models as well as powerful developer tools, both pre-built and custom AI agents, and deep integrations across Google Workspace and leading third-party business apps.
For businesses racing to adopt AI responsibly, Gemini Enterprise sets a new standard. For Wursta and our clients, it marks an exciting step forward in helping organizations move from fragmented AI adoption to a one-stop, full-stack platform – and as a trusted Google Workspace Consultant and longtime Google Cloud Partner, we’re proud to empower teams to leverage Gemini’s groundbreaking capabilities for real-world impact.
7. LATAM: A Year of Innovation and Impact
2025 was a defining year for Wursta in LATAM, showcasing our strategic leadership and commitment to driving digital transformation and ethical AI adoption across the region.
- Thought Leadership Takes the Stage: Miguel Castro at TEDx Cumbayá
Wursta drove the global conversation on responsible AI as VP of Expansion, Miguel Castro, took the stage at the prestigious TEDx Cumbayá to present “The Paradigm of Interpretability: from the Black Box to Construct-Based Transformers (CBT)”. He highlighted that the “black box” problem prevents AI from having the necessary transparency for high-risk decisions. Wursta’s innovative CBT solution moves beyond this by building specialized internal representations of concepts like causality and satisfaction, allowing us to clearly trace and understand how the AI arrives at its conclusions. This technical and ethical leadership positions Wursta at the forefront of building an AI future based on trust and transparent progress.
- Strategic Alignment: U.S. Embassy Event in El Salvador
We solidified our role in Central America’s digital agenda through a successful Single Company Promotion (SCP) event in San Salvador, supported by the U.S. Embassy Commercial Service. The event successfully engaged 17 high-level decision-makers from critical government institutions, including the Ministries of Finance and Education, and the state energy company, CEL. Senior Commercial Officer Kenneth Duckworth emphasized the vital role of digital solutions in creating a modern and citizen-centered government. This collaboration strengthened relations and showcased Wursta’s ability to facilitate world-class Google Cloud adoption for regional development and modernization.

- Digital Transformation Milestone: BanEcuador’s Google Workspace Launch
Wursta led a major digital modernization project in the financial sector, successfully migrating BanEcuador’s core email and collaboration platform to Google Workspace. This project was a fundamental part of the bank’s digital modernization strategy and represented a significant step towards enabling the future of work within the institution. The launch event marked not just a simple technology upgrade but the beginning of a cultural and operational transformation, paving the way for a more agile and collaborative future for thousands of employees.
8. Other Headlines From 2025
Beyond Gemini Enterprise, this year Google also debuted AI Ultra, its latest and most advanced AI subscription plan. Plus, it introduced AI Mode for Search, which lets users search the web using the powerful Gemini 2.5 model.
“Agentic AI” was undoubtedly the buzzword of the year, signaling a shift toward AI systems that can reason, collaborate across tools, and act on behalf of users. At Wursta, our unique Agentic Journey approach helps organizations embrace that shift through every step of their AI transformation.
Not all headlines were about progress. A major Microsoft Azure outage in October served as a reminder that security and resilience are just as vital as innovation.
Finally, just for fun – 2025 had its share of surprises outside the tech world, too. Spotify now lets you see your listening stats, Steam announced its first new gaming console in over a decade, the last-ever U.S. penny was minted, and A Minecraft Movie was the highest-grossing film of the year.
From breakthroughs to blockbusters, 2025 kept us inspired – and we can’t wait to see what comes next! We look forward to another year of doing what we love: crafting bespoke workplace solutions that put people first and deliver results that matter.
