How is Generative AI Different from Predictive AI?

Generative AI platforms like Google’s Bard are built off of very large language models allowing them to go beyond just predicting what you might want to say next, and actually creating new content based on the subtotal of its knowledge. 

Google’s Generative AI Offerings

Google is offering a wide array of Ai offerings both for the consumer and the enterprise. On the consumer end, users can access Bard for many use cases such as finding information, comparing documents, writing blog posts, and more. On the enterprise side, Google has created Duet AI and Vertex AI. These are much different than Bard in that their terms of service link back to your Google Workspace license. Duet AI and Vertex AI also have additional security features to help keep your organization’s sensitive information safe.

Duet AI is a generative AI housed directly inside your Google Workspace suite. It can be used in Google Sheets, Slides, Docs, Meet, and even Gmail.
